Western Christian Wins Seventh Consecutive Game After Tuesday’s 26-18 Ambassador League Victory at Linfield Christian

Western Christian has been cruising of late.

The Fighting Lancers have won seven in a row and nine of their last 10 games.

In their last four games alone, WCHS defeated Los Osos, United Christian Academy, San Fernando and GALA by a combined margin of 127-0.

Fast forward to September 10th, and the Lancers got challenged in Temecula in an Ambassador League contest.

Western Christian led 13-6 at the half, and they would hold on for a 26-18 victory at Linfield Christian.

Maliyah Estrada went 25 of 34 for 225 yards.

The freshman quarterback tossed three TD passes and one interception.

Bailey Osborne caught seven passes for 80 yards, and that included one touchdown.

Bella Smiderle tallied five receptions for 76 yards and one score.

Grace Galdamez reeled in seven passes for 53 yards, and she totaled another 31 yards rushing.

Aryana Munoz had one TD catch.

On defense, Galdamez had a pick-six in the first half.

Cass Serna picked off a pass in the second half.

Up next: Western Christian travels to Orange Lutheran on Thursday at 6.
