Girls Volleyball:
Etiwanda’s remarkable start to the 2024 season continued on Tuesday.
But it didn’t come easy.
The Eagles headed home from Corona Centennial with a hard-fought five-set victory over the Huskies.
EHS won by scores of 25-21, 18-25, 24-26, 25-23 and 15-13.
Lauren Furnald and Nina Hemsley led the Etiwanda attack.
Furnald had 20 kills and four aces.
And Hemsley chipped in with 17 kills.
Brooke Hansen finished with 38 assists and 14 digs.
Kelis Hawkins added six blocks and Alina Parrales had 19 digs.
Up next: The Eagles host Ontario Christian on Thursday at 4:45.
