Boys Water Polo:
The West Covina boys’ water polo program secured victory No. 1 of the 2024 season.
The Bulldogs headed home from Cerritos with a 10-6 victory.
WCHS led 5-0 at the half and 10-1 in the second half.
Matthew Ugarte had 13 saves in goal for West Covina.
Adam Elhuessiney led the way with three goals.
Devin Caballero, Angelo Gregorio, and Andres Javier scored two goals apiece in Thursday’s win.
Bo Savoy contributed one goal, three assists and five steals.
Up next: The Bulldogs travel to Chino on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30.
