Flag Football:
Western Christian didn’t just beat their visitors from Ontario Christian on Wednesday.
The Fighting Lancers trounced the Knights, 40-8, to improve to 11-2.
WCHS led 34-0 at the half and OCHS was never able to put up a fight.
Maliyah Estrada carved up the Ontario Christian defense.
Estrada completed 32-of-40 for 350 yards.
She tossed six TD passes and didn’t turn the ball over.
Estrada had completions to nine separate WCHS receivers.
Kyla Johnson had a team-highs in catches (6) and receiving yards (78).
Johnson had two TD receptions.
Charlotte Deon caught five passes for 66 yards and a pair of TD’s.
Siena Norheim also had two touchdown catches.
Cass Serna, Grace Galdamez and Ava Montoya each picked off an OCHS pass.
Up next: The Fighting Lancers host Los Osos on Tuesday night at 7.
