Western Christian Dominated on Both Sides of the Ball in Tuesday’s 25-6 Victory at Chino; Fighting Lancers Improved to 10-2

The Western Christian flag football team continued its hot streak to open the 2024 season.

The Fighting Lancers improved to 10-2 after a 25-6 victory at Chino.

Western Christian took a 19-0 lead into the break and the outcome was never in doubt.

Maliyah Estrada completed 17 of 26 for 184 yards.

Estrada tossed a pair of TD’s, and she was picked three times.

Bailey Osborne caught six passes for 84 yards and one TD.

Osborne also had two carries for 12 yards.

Grace Galdamez had a pair of catches for 60 yards, including one score.

She also rushed for 17 yards.

The Western Christian defense gave the Lady Cowboys offense fits all game.

WCHS picked off three passes and held Chino to just one score in the second half.

Cass Serna had a pair of interceptions, including one she returned for a 45-yard pick-six.

Ava Montoya had a 40-yard pick-six of her own.

Up next: The Fighting Lancers host Ontario Christian this afternoon (Wednesday) at 4.

The Knights (3-4) enter the contest on a two-game losing streak.
