Flintridge Sacred Heart Edges South Pasadena in Competitive Five-Set Thriller; Tologs Extend Win Streak to Four Matches

Girls Volleyball:

Flintridge Sacred Heart won its fourth consecutive match on Monday.

And the Tologs had to work for it.

FSHA secured a five-set victory at South Pasadena.

They took the first two games with scores of 25-20 and 26-24.

South Pas, however, secured sets three and four by identical 28-26 scores.

The Tologs, though, would prevail in the end with a 16-14 fifth and final game to improve to 8-4.

 

Annabel Soter led the offense with 19 kills.

Grace McCarthy provided 10 kills and Alex Carr had nine kills.

Peyton Recinos contributed eight kills and 10 digs.

Ally Du chipped in with 39 assists, 13 digs and six aces.

Up next: The Tologs make the 90-second drive to La Canada High School on Thursday at 3:30.
