After a CIF-SS Division 8 title-game appearance in 2023, Dominic Farrar’s boys got back on the horse this past Friday.
And the Chargers cruised to a 44-6 victory over their visitors from Canyon in a week-zero contest.
Corin Berry is back behind center, and he began his junior campaign in impressive form.
Berry completed 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 293 yards.
He tossed three TD passes and didn’t turn the ball over.
Berry also gained 86 yards on three carries, including one score.
Torry Huff carried the ball 11 times for 57 yards and one TD.
Legend Lyons dominated with six catches for 109 yards and one TD.
Marquis Bradley had three receptions for 50 yards, including one score.
Antonio Reasby caught four passes for 73 yards.
Diego Flores had a pair of receptions for 24 yards and one TD.
Michael White led the COHS defense with six tackles.
Aaron Rivera had four tackles and a sack, and Jontae Beckwith picked one pass in Friday’s win.
