Etiwanda Defense Dominates in Tuesday’s 28-0 & 27-6 Victories Over Quartz Hill & Temescal Canyon, Respectively, to Open 2024 Season

Etiwanda opened the 2024 season on Tuesday afternoon, and its defense was dominant in a pair of Eagles’ wins.

EHS shut out Quartz Hills, 28-0, in the first game.

And shortly thereafter, they claimed a 27-6 victory over Temescal Canyon in their first two games in school history.

Senior defensive back, Teresa Garcia, picked off three passes in one game.

Mykayla Weathersby and Emily Garcia both had pick sixes for the Eagles.

Offensively, junior running back Ellie Fitzpatrick had north of 100 yards rushing, including one TD.

All three quarterbacks combined to toss four TD’s and one rushing score.

Each of the three passed for over 75 yards as well.

Up next: The Eagles host Centennial Corona on Monday at 4.
