Orange County Juice Sweep Ventura County Bucs, 11-4 & 17-12, in Wednesday’s Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League Doubleheader

The Orange County Juice slugged their way to a doubleheader victory over the Ventura County Bucs in the Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League.

OC claimed victories of 11-4 and 17-12, and they out-hit Ventura County, 25-21, at Biola.

Game One Notes:

Geovanny Hernandez got the win after going four innings and allowing an unearned run on five hits.

Hernandez issued one walk and fanned a pair of Bucs.

Eddie Perez singled twice and scored.

Ryker Billingsley drew a pair of walks, singled and scored.

Hudson Story doubled and scored.

Carson Chavez walked, singled and drove in a pair of runs.

Nomar Vazquez had a pair of singles.

Jacob Gudino got the loss after going five innings and being charged with four runs (one earned) on six hits.

Gudino walked three and struck out one OCJ batter.

Sebastian Garcia went 3-for-4 with a double and scored one run.

Makamae DuPont singled twice and scored.

Mario Catalan singled and scored two runs.

Matt Santiago went 2-for-4 with a run and one RBI.

Amari Yolas walked, doubled and scored.

Nate Sterling walked, scored and had an RBI.

Jordan Sheridan went 1-for-3 with a walk, double, run and one RBI.

Cameron Hickox got the win after going four innings and allowing four unearned runs on six hits.

Hickox walked one and struck out four.

Will Matuszak drew a pair of walks, homered, scored twice and drove in two runs.

Hudson Story went 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.

Ryker Billingsley drew a pair of walks, singled, scored two runs and had one RBI.
