Charlie Ream Tosses Two-Hit Shutout in Pasadena’s 7-0 Victory Over Muir; Bulldogs Finish Third in Pacific League

Baseball:

Pasadena moved into third place after picking up a pair of 7-0 victories over rival Muir this week.

On Friday, Charlie Ream tossed a two-hit shutout.

Ream walked one and struck out five Mustangs.

He needed 89 pitches to finish what he started, and 59 went for strikes.

Owen Grice and Issac Rishwan had one single apiece to account for the Muir offense.

Conrad Hunziker IV allowed three runs on four hits.

Hunziker went 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out five PHS batters.

Miguel Yepez walked twice, singled and scored.

Adrian Oseguera walked, singled and scored.

Marcus Gonzalez singled, scored twice and had two RBIs.

Joe Bacon walked, scored and had an RBI on a sac fly.

Baylin Brooks walked, singled, scored and had an RBI.

Ream helped his own cause with a single and two RBIs.
