Girls Basketball:
It was a memorable Friday night for Flintridge Prep star Ashley Chea.
The Princeton bound senior scored 23 points in a 64-15 victory at Westridge in the Prep League opener.
Because of COVID-19 and this and that, the Wolves finally got to celebrate Chea passing the career 1,000-point club.
Chea has tallied 1,124 points for Prep.
And her family was on hand to make it more special for the Wolves’ senior
Chea hit five 3-pointers before taking almost the entire second half off.
Maddie Smith has really stepped up her scoring of late.
On Friday, Smith finished with 22 points.
Gigi Mastras chipped in with nine in Friday’s road victory.
Sarah King led Westridge with six points.
