Boys Basketball:
After having the past week off, Damien didn’t show any signs of rust on Saturday morning.
The Spartans cruised to a 65-41 victory over King-Drew and improved to 5-1.
Xavier Clinton had a game-high 26 for Damien.
Clinton had three of the Spartans’ five 3-pointers.
Nate Garcia chipped in with 20 for DHS.
Donald Thompson led King-Drew with 24 points, including four 3-pointers.
Up next: Damien travels to Northview on Tuesday night at 6:30.
