Girls Volleyball:
West Covina picked up its first Valle Vista League victory of 2022.
On Tuesday, the Bulldogs earned a 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20 triumph at Covina.
WCHS was led by junior setter Anisa Palm, who had 20 assists.
Seniors Aliana Solorzano (28 digs) and Krizia Carandang (12 kills) played big in the win.
Their fellow seniors, Ximena Galindo and Erendira Zepeda, both stood tall on the defensive side, as well as producing 10 or more digs apiece.
Freshmen Isabella Gonzalez chipped in with a pair of blocks.
Up next: WCHS will travel to San Dimas on Thursday night at 6:30.
