Bonita jumped on top-seeded Orange Lutheran for four runs in the top of the first inning.
The Lancers pitching staff, however, would hold the Bearcats to just one run over the final six innings.
And Orange Lu claimed a 10-5 victory in the second round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.
Louis Rodriguez went three innings and the Bearcats got to him for five runs (two earned) on nine hits.
Rodriguez walked one and struck out four.
Evan Miranda would go four scoreless inning in relief to earn the win.
Miranda allowed just one hit, walked one and struck out four.
Seth Wrightstone went 2-for-4, with a run.
JT Fenton singled twice, scored a pair of runs and had one RBI.
Luke Mistone ended his high school career by doubling and scoring a run.
Bryan Bradshaw singled and scored.
Adrian Lopez, Daniel Munoz and Garrett Patterson had one single and an RBI apiece.
Tyler Holley walked and singled.
Justin Santiago was struck with the loss, allowing nine runs (four earned) on seven hits.
Santiago went four innings, walked three and struck out a pair of O-LU batters.
Karson Bowen singled, hit a solo HR, scored three runs and drove in a pair.
Jacob Pereda singled twice, scored and had two RBIs.
Bryan Martinez doubled and scored twice.
The Palomares League champs finished with a record of 19-7.
