Jazmin Jaquez Goes Distance, Allowing Unearned Run & Struck Out 11 in Pasadena’s 10-1 Victory at Glendale

Softball:

Pasadena made one more step towards a CIF-SS playoff spot on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs claimed a 10-1 victory at Glendale.

Maddie Fraer singled, doubled twice, scored two runs and had a pair of RBIs.

Kaylee McKenzie singled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored twice.

Jazmin Jaquez singled, scored three runs and had one RBI.

Darla Burnett singled, scored and drove in a run.

Alyssa Perez singled, doubled and had one RBI.

Hannah McWade singled and scored.

As usual, Jazmin Jaquez went the distance for PHS.

Jaquez allowed an unearned run on seven hits.

She didn’t issue a walk and struck out 11 Glendale batters.

Up next: With one game remaining in the 2022 regular season, Pasadena and Burroughs are tied for third with identical 7-5 Pacific League records.

On Thursday, PHS will host Hoover and Burroughs travels to Burbank.
