Boys Volleyball:
Just over a month ago, Arcadia got swept at Crescenta Valley, which dropped the Apaches to third place in the Pacific League.
Fast forward to Friday, and Arcadia answered back with a five-set, regular-season ending victory over the visiting Falcons.
CV took leads of 1-0 and 2-1, but the Apaches responded and claimed victory by scores of 22-25, 25-14, 19-25, 26-24 and 15-11.
The win also secured a two-way tie for second place between Arcadia and Crescenta Valley.
Kevin Nakaishi had 19 digs and two aces.
Luke Treiman contributed nine kills and eight aces.
Jesse Lok finished with eight kills and three blocks.
And Matt Le chipped in with five blocks, four kills and a pair of aces.
In just his first year at the helm, Arcadia coach Stephen Bernabe has developed a program that is based on toughness, a tireless work ethic and an accountability that applies to the players and coaches alike.
Up next: Arcadia will get their CIF-SS playoff pairing on Monday.
