Baseball:
Arcadia picked up its second victory in two days over Redondo Union.
On Tuesday, the Apaches defeated the visiting Sea Hawks, 3-0.
And 24 hours later, AHS drove out to Redondo Beach, and came home with a 6-1 triumph over RUHS.
Cole Stokes got the loss, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits.
Stokes went five innings, walked three and fanned four Arcadia batters.
Alex Dolan walked, singled, doubled and scored three runs from the leadoff spot.
Lance Wong and Devon Eskridge singled and drove in one run apiece.
Evan Huang singled and scored twice.
Daniel Chavez allowed just an unearned run on three hits.
Chavez walked three and fanned four Redondo Union batters.
Jacob Pech singled and drove in a run.
Zephyr Clement doubled and scored for the Sea Hawks.
Gavin Grace’s single accounted for the third RUHS base hit.
Up next: Arcadia will host Burbank on Tuesday in a huge, two-game, Pacific League series.
