Quotable:
Arcadia coach, Stephen Bernabe: “I’m proud of my team. We played against Maranatha, who had some big blockers across the net. We went to the UCLA game the night before for team bonding and added some things we saw to our game. Our right side stepped up for the team and we kept feeding Luke Treiman. Now we rest up and play in a good tournament at Los Altos tomorrow morning.”
Maranatha coach, Rand Holdren: “I’m proud of how our boys battled tonight. We were up 9-5 in game two, and let it get away. Arcadia plays with a high volleyball IQ, and it was good for us to see that this early in the season. It’s part of growing as a team. Our squad is going to be good moving forward. I’m happy to be a part of this team.”
