Bonita was able to use the same recipe for victory on Saturday as they have all season.
The Bearcats get a lead, and then let their defense and goalie, Maddie Jackson take over.
Bonita got two goals apiece from Hailey Heaton and Katie Hugar in Saturday’s 6-4 victory over Vista Murrieta.
Tori Carlson and Grace Jackson scored once each in the win.
Maddie Jackson continued her dominance over another opposing offense, blocking 19 shots for the Bearcats.
The Palomares League champs have earned their way into Wednesday’s CIF-SS Division 3 semifinal round.
Up next: Bonita will travel to Peninsula on Wednesday
The Panthers (16-6) defeated California, 12-10, on Saturday.
