Girls Basketball:
If you’ve followed the San Gabriel Valley’s girls basketball scene over the last several years, it would be difficult to find a program, especially a small one, that has won more games than Flintridge Prep.
So, when you see that the Wolves have opened the 2021-22 season 1-3, you should keep two things in mind.
First, Flintridge Prep has just seven players dressed because of injury or illness, and their three losses to Yucaipa, Arcadia and Schurr have come by two, eight and two points, respectively.
On Friday, the Wolves dropped a 51-43 decision to Arcadia, and one night later, Flintridge Prep fell, 47-45 to Schurr.
