Boys Water Polo:
Glendora used a two-goal advantage in the fourth period to defeat Chino Hills, 8-7, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs.
Josh Lamberton and Charlie Peralta had three goals apiece for the Tartans.
Lamberton also contributed two steals, four ejections drawn and an assist, while Peralta had two assists and a pair of steals.
Cole Fishman provided a goal, two assists and a steal.
Nick Beyer added a goal and one steal in Tuesday’s victory.
Alex Thomas blocked 16 shots and had two steals in goal for GHS.
Up next: GHS will travel to Fullerton on Thursday to battle Troy.
The Warriors (23-5) had a first-round bye.
