Boys Water Polo:
With four Valle Vista League matches to go in the 2021 season, the West Covina High boys water polo program is hoping to finish strong.
The third-place Bulldogs crushed last-place Edgewood, 19-1, on Tuesday.
Ryan Diaz blocked 9 of 10 shots in goal to keep the Lions offense in check.
Tony Lassic and Zach Elhusseiny had four goals apiece.
Diaz actually came out of his goal in the fourth quarter and wanted a piece of the action, and he scored a pair of goals.
John Anderson & Matthew Munoz both had two goals in the win.
WCHS got one goal apiece from Adam Elhusseiny, Jaremiah Juarez and Luis Fuents.
Up next: WCHS will travel to Sierra Vista on Thursday at 3:15.
