Boys Water Polo:
West Covina improved to 3-1 in Valle Vista League play thanks to Tuesday’s 23-13 beadown of Sierra Vista.
Matthew Munoz continues to torch the opponent’s nets and had a team-best nine goals.
Izaiah Reyes and Jeremiah Juarez chipped in with three goals apiece.
Ethan Lew and Tony Lassic both scored two goals in the win.
Adam Elhussieny and Ezekiel Dominguez contributed one goal each.
Ryan Diaz had 14 saves in his three quarters of work to solidify the Bulldogs win.
Andres Javier made his varsity debut and had four saves in the fourth quarter.
Up next: WCHS will travel to LA near Dodger Stadium to take on Cathedral on Thursday afternoon.
And next Tuesday, the Bulldogs will host first-place Charter Oak.
