Mia Delahoussaye Has 17 Kills, as South Hills Sweeps Rival, West Covina, to Pick up First Win of Season

It’s always a great feeling to pick up your first win of the season.

And if you play for South Hills, defeating rival West Covina is about as good as it gets.

What made it even sweeter for the Huskies on Tuesday, though, was the fact that they swept the Bulldogs.

After a competitive first game, West Covina was only able to pick up 15 points in sets two and three combined.

South Hills won by scores of 25-18, 25-7 and 25-8.

Mia Delahoussaye had a huge night with 17 kills and three aces.

Mia Moore finished with 10 kills and Peyton Wright added six kills and three aces.

Jaida Zuniga had five aces and 14 digs in the win.

For West Covina, Madi Schleif had four kills.

Up next: South Hills will host Southlands Christian tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 5.

West Covina will welcome Edgewood to their gym on Thursday night at 5:30.
