He allowed one hit, didn’t walk a batter and got half of his outs via strikeout.

Connor Rangel singled and tripled and Nathan Valdivia walked and doubled.

Cade Willis got the loss after a five-inning outing.

He allowed three runs on five hits and walked three.

Ethan Milleson walked, doubled, scored and had two RBIs.

Danny Hirota walked singled, scored and drove in a run.

Chris Sanchez singled and scored.

Chris Ceballos walked and singled.

Quotable:

Charter Oak senior, Zack Bauer: “Starting our season off 0-2 was not what we had hoped for, but moving from game 1 to game 2 I saw a lot of improvement in the team. Getting the win in game 3 feels good and is a step in the right direction. We are competitors with a common goal. This is our year to show what Charter Oak baseball is all about.”
