Boys Basketball:
Glendora claimed the Classic at Damien Iron Division title after Friday’s 53-42 over South Hills.
The Tartans used a 33-21 second-half run to pull away from the Huskies.
Ian Wang led GHS with 13 points, including three 3-pointers.
Chris Lee, who was named the Iron Division MVP, scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Colton Gray earned all-tournament honors, and contributed 10 points and seven rebounds in Friday’s victory.
Jordan Peterson led South Hills with 13 points.
Mateo Padilao chipped in with 12 for the Huskies.
Up next: GHS will travel to Alta Loma on Friday to open Palomares League play.
