Girls Basketball:
To say that Monday night’s contest between Duarte and La Salle was a mismatch would be quite the understatement.
The Lancers improved to 7-1 after a 61-19 victory over the Falcons.
Duarte never scored more than eight points in a quarter.
Elizabth Perez led the way for the Falcons with six points.
Ryan Riddle had a game-high 16 points for the Lancers.
Riddle scored 11 of her 16 in the first half when La Salle pulled away from the Falcons.
Aubrey Chen had 13, Kaden Cortes scored 12 points and Reese Wong had 11 in the win.
Up next: La Salle and Wilson of Hacienda Heights will meet up Wednesday at 4.
