Boys & Girls Soccer:
What a way to start the 2021-22 soccer season.
San Dimas got the better of rival Bonita on Wednesday.
The Saints boys got three second-half goals to pull away from the Bearcats, 4-1.
And the SDHS girls outscored Bonita, 3-1, in penalty kicks, after both goalies pitched a shutout in regulation play.
For the boys, Gael De Leon scored three times and Kerillos Nelson added one goal in the boys victory.
Troy Mejia played solid throughout in goal for the Saints.
For the girls, Reagan Parkhill, Alyssa Caton, and Maddy Moris scored penalty kicks.
And Morris blocked three Bonita penalty-kick shots to secure the victory.
