It may have taken Northview a while to get on the scoreboard, but the Vikings left Thousand Oaks with a comfortable 21-7 victory over the Lancers.
The Vikings had a 366-146 advantage in total offense.
And that included 215 rushing yards and compared to just 35 for TOHS.
Aaron Guillen carried the ball 19 times for 127 yards.
Guillen had TD runs of 1 and 3 yards in the fourth quarter to give Northview a 14-0 lead.
With a seven-point advantage, Noah Esparza sprinted in from 39 yards out to put the game on ice.
Esparza finished with 74 yards on six carries.
Zachary Garza gained 43 yards on 12 carries.
Miguel Lizarde III completed 5-of-11 for 113 yards.
Andrew Ramos caught three passes for 107 yards.
AJ Aguilar went 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts.
Jayden Brown, Israel Betancourt and Alfonso Talanmantes each picked a pass for the NHS defense.
Thousand Oaks got on the board in the fourth when Brandon Kochel caught a 16-yard TD pass from Matthew Galvez.

The Highlanders (1-0) dropped a 55-13 ass kicking on their hosts from Upland.
