Baseball:
Monrovia has only lost five games all season.
Three of the five have come at the hands of San Marino.
The Titans have two Rio Hondo League and a tournament victory over the Wildcats.
On Tuesday, SMHS rode the arm of Colin Wildeman in a 3-0 RHL league victory over visiting MHS.
Wildeman went the distance, allowing one run on four hits.
He issued one walk and registered seven strikeouts.
Sixty-four of his 93 pitches were strikes.
Braydon Blackmore had an RBI single in the top of the third to tie the game at 1-1.
Sutton Powers singled and scored.
Evan Huelster and Troy Grise had one double apiece for MHS.
Greyson Lorenzini got the loss after surrendering three runs (one earned) on six hits and one hit batter over 5 2/3 innings.
Lorenzini walked one and struck out seven San Marino batters.
Sixty-six of his 101 pitches were strikes.
Alex Lumino’s RBI single in the bottom of the second gave SMHS a 1-0 lead.
Chace Lee had an RBI double in the fourth and an RBI single in the sixth.
JT Lu-Morris doubled and scored.
Cooper Wilson singled and scored.
Aldo Cali went 1-for-3 and scored.
