Softball:
After 12 days off, San Dimas has claimed Hacienda League victories over Alta Loma (17-3) and Colony (10-7) on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.
On Thursday, Brooke D’Amato went the distance and surrendered seven runs (five earned) on eight hits.
D’Amato walked seven and struck out one Colony batter.
Khloe Caldera went 2-for-3 with a double, run and three RBIs.
Lina Brizuela walked and had a pair of singles.
Jaylene Ruiz walked, singled and scored.
Isabella Avalos singled and scored.
Khloe Barros singled, scored and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Ella Martinez got the loss after allowing 10 runs (nine earned) on 12 hits over six innings.
Martinez issued a pair of walks and registered four strikeouts.
Mia Patlan singled, scored twice and hit a two-run home run.
Audrey Schlim went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and four RBIs.
Tiffany Villegas singled, had two doubles, three runs and one RBI.
Malia Arochi singled twice and scored.
Mikaela Ketterling singled in a pair of runs in the fifth and scored.
Graciela Alt-Ambriz walked, had an RBI ground out and scored.
Jaidyn Baeza singled in Thursday’s win.
