College Baseball:
Two days ago, PCC and Mt. SAC battled 12 innings to decide a winner.
On Thursday, the Mounties put the game away in the fourth inning.
They led 10-0 after four and 15-0 until the Lancers scored once in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Mt. SAC would cruise to a 19-6 victory.
They out-hit PCC, 20-10, including a 5-1 advantage in extra-base hits.
Alex Myers got the loss after allowing four runs on two hits and three walks over 2 2/3 innings.
Ryan Castro went 3-for-4 with two runs, a grand slam and a two-run single.
In the first two games of the three-game SCC series, Castro is 7-for-11 with nine RBIs.
Luca Lombardi had four singles, two runs and an RBI.
Tyler Primanto went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Mario Cuadros walked, singled, scored twice and drove in a run.
Frankie Brazil drew a pair of walks, singled, doubled and scored four runs.
Andrew Alva went 2-for-4 with a run and one RBI.
Brady Stull walked, had an RBI single and scored.
Hudson Karczynski walked and scored a pair of runs.
Isaac Fanoga singled, doubled and had an RBI ground out.
Jackson Giacone went 2-for-3 with a walk, three-run double, RBI single and scored three times.
Hudson Castillo got the win after allowing one run on five hits over six innings.
Castillo walked one and fanned four PCC batters.
Chris Torres singled and doubled in a run in the sixth inning to get the Lancers on the board.
Ricky Gonzales singled twice and scored.
Adrian Oseguera drew a pair of walks, singled and scored two runs.
Josh Ibarra walked and scored.
Gabe Martinez singled in a pair of runs in the eighth.
Diego Gurfein singled and scored.
Logan Parker singled in a run and scored.
Nathan Longoria drove in a run on a sac fly.
Xiovany Ochoa and Kyle Ly had one single apiece for PCC.
Up next: The Lancers visit Walnut on Saturday at noon.
