Softball:
La Salle will take an impressive 13-3 record into their spring break.
The Lancers secured a 5-1 victory at Flintridge Prep.
Hailey Jo went the distance to get the loss, and she was charged with five runs (four earned) on nine hits.
Jo issued three walks and registered seven strikeouts.
Eighty-four of her 119 pitches were strikes.
Layla Loya drew a pair of walks and her two-run home run in the top of the seventh gave the Lancers are four-run lead.
Peyton Herdina went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI double.
Jessica Young doubled in a run in the top of the fourth.
Barbie Solis had an RBI single in the fifth inning.
Havana Pagan and Maeve Totten singled and scored one run apiece.
Olivia Ferrari singled in the win.
Pagan started in the circle, and she allowed one run on four hits.
Pagan didn’t issue a walk and struck out one.
Herdina went four hitless and scoreless innings, she didn’t walk anyone and fanned three Flintridge Prep batters.
Sapna Pradham had half of the Wolves four hits, including an RBI double in the bottom of the first inning.
Mary Sinclair singled and scored.
Kara Choy singled to account for the other Flintridge Prep base hit.
Up next: The Lancers will host San Marino on Saturday April 11th at 11:30 a.m.
