Softball:
Bonita dropped a 14-2 beatdown on their visitors from Rancho Cucamonga in five innings.
They scored nine runs in the bottom of the first and five more in the second.
The Cougars scored both of their runs in the top of the fifth.
Audrina Garcia got the loss after surrendering five runs on three hits and two walks without getting an out.
BHS roughed up Samantha Santiago for nine runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks in 1 1/3 innings.
Leah Reynolds had an RBI single, a solo home run and scored a pair of runs.
Adrianna Mangini drew a pair of walks, scored, doubled in two and she was hit by pitch with the bases loaded.
Laila Washington walked twice, singled, scored twice and drove in one run.
Madi Arzate went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Sara Yeats had an RBI single and drove in another run on a sac fly.
Serenity Reyes walked, singled and scored.
Koa Puppe was hit by pitch, singled in a run and scored.
Maya Aguayo walked and scored.
Laney Sweeney went 1-for-3 with two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Yeats earned the win after going three scoreless innings and allowing just one hit.
Yeats walked a pair of RCHS batters and struck out one.
Jordin Washington singled, doubled and scored.
Lizzy Brown had and RBI single in the fifth to get RCHS on the board.
Two batters later, Anabelle Infante singled in a run.
Isabella Lee walked and scored.
Up next: RCHS travels to Temescal Canyon on Monday afternoon at 12:30.
