Baseball:
La Salle secured a 15-0 Del Rey League thumping of their hosts from Serra on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lancers out-hit the Cavs, 14-2, including a 2-0 edge in extra-base hits in their five-inning contest.
Nico Armendariz went four scoreless and he surrendered a pair of hits.
Armendariz issued one walk and registered seven strikeouts.
David Eriksson got all three of his outs via strikeout.
Amir Linton and Ramon Valador had one hit apiece for the Cavaliers.
Ramon Valador has seen better days on the mound.
On Tuesday, he was charged with 15 runs on 14 hits and eight walks over 3 2/3 innings.
He did not register a strikeout.

Drew Ward went 3-for-3 with a walk, double, two runs and three RBIs.
Chris Cardenas, the SGV’s leading batter, had three singles, a run and four RBIs.
Travis Ochoa drew three walks and scored.
Andrew Klein walked twice, singled, scored three runs and drove in one.
Daniel Ruiz went 2-for-3 with a double, run and one RBI.
Gabriel Arias walked, singled and scored two runs.
Isaiah Romero went 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.
Miguel Romero walked, singled, drove in two and scored.
Frane Flores went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs and one RBI.
