Maranatha trailed 2-0 as they picked up their bats in the top of the sixth inning at Valencia High School.
The Minutemen would strike for three runs in the sixth, and they held on for a 3-2 victory.
Dylan Hoang went five innings, and he was charged with two runs on five hits.
Hoang issued five walks and registered six strikeouts.
Jayden Morales provided two hitless and scoreless innings in relief.
Morales walked one and fanned a pair of Vikings.
Tyler Wertz singled twice and scored.
Justin Gaisford drew three walks and scored.
Jack Yamamura went 2-for-4.
Cole DeYoung drew a bases loaded walk.
Dexton Otton went three scoreless innings, and he allowed three hits for VHS.
Otton walked one and fanned three MHS batters.
Jordan Ramos was charged with two runs on one walk over 2 2/3 innings.
Justin Gaisford got the loss after allowing an unearned run on four hits and a walk over 1 1/3 innings.
Bryce Geeting and Moses Alvarado had RBI singles in the top of the sixth.
Alvarado actually drove Geeting in.
Will Higginbotham pinch ran and stole home.
Yahir Treto singled and doubled.
Gabe Barragan drew a pair of walks, singled and scored.
Trevor Rivas went 2-for-4, including a double.
