Etiwanda made the 62-mile drive to Dana Hills riding a five-game losing streak.
They were also facing a Dolphins’ program that is currently ranked 370 spots higher than the Eagles in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Trailing 3-2, EHS scored three runs in the fourth and fifth innings, and they put the game away with five sixth inning runs.
Ryan See got the loss after surrendering five runs (four earned) on eight hits over four innings.
See didn’t issue a walk and struck out three.
The Eagles would rough up Vaati Lund and Jaiden Guzman for eight runs on four hits and four walks in two combined innings of work.
Angel Mejia went 3-for-5 with a double, triple, run and three RBIs.
James Milam tripled in a pair of runs in the fifth and scored.
LJ Roellig walked, singled, doubled and scored a pair of runs.
Derick Kim went 2-for-5 with two runs and three RBIs.
Adam Ornelas had a pair of singles and two RBIs.
Jaxson Milius walked, was hit by pitch, singled and scored two runs.
Nathan Perez was hit by pitch, singled and scored twice.
Peyton Ramos drove in a run on a sac fly and scored.

CJ Monzon went three innings for EHS, and he was charged with three runs on six hits.
Monzon walked one and fanned a pair.
Charles Stube was credited with the win.
He surrendered three runs (two earned) on four hits over two innings.
Stube issued one walk and registered three strikeouts.
AJ Salazar got the final five outs without any damage.
Ryan Georgia singled, doubled and scored.
Tommy Burke walked, tripled, scored and drove in one.
