Baseball:
Chino Hills cruised to an 8-0 victory at Don Lugo thanks to some solid pitching and the bat of Andrew Baldomino.
Jasim Malik got the loss after surrendering five runs (four earned) on four hits over four innings.
Malik issued four walks and struck out one CHHS batter.
Andrew Baldomino went 3-for-4 with six RBIs.
He hit a three-run HR, a two-run double and an RBI double.
Brody Buoncristiani drew a pair of walks, was hit by pitch, singled twice, stole three bases and scored two runs.
Jacob Jimenez walked, stole two bases and scored twice.
Ryan Dabuet walked, singled, stole two bases and scored.
Nick Gonzalez went four scoreless innings and allowed a pair of hits to earn the win.
Gonzalez didn’t issue a walk and registered six strikeouts.
Adrian Baldomino provided two scoreless innings in relief and surrendered just one hit.
Baldomino didn’t give away a free pass, and he got half of his six outs via strikeout.
Anthony Medyn got the final two outs without allowing a hit, while striking out two.
Preston Suksdorf, Seth Johnson and Malik had one hit apiece to account for the DLHS offense.
