College Baseball:
Citrus secured win No. 10 of the 2026 season on Tuesday.
The Owls scored six runs in the top of the sixth, and they’d hang on for a 6-5 victory at Cypress.
Neither program scored after the fourth inning.
Tim Hudson went six innings, and he was charged with five runs (four earned) on eight hits.
Hudson issued one walk and registered eight strikeouts.
Beau Lloyd and Gabe Buranasiri combined to go three scoreless innings in relief.
Tyler Smith doubled twice and scored.
Justin Tillar hit a solo home run.
Travis Curry went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.
Wyatt Joyce collected a pair of doubles, one single, and he scored once.
John Short singled and scored.
Ty Peters had an RBI single in the three-run fourth innings.
Citrus got to Talan Larson for five runs on five hits over 1 2/2 innings.
Eli Kasiski was charged with one run on three hits in 1 1/3 innings of work.
Jordan Daniels hit a solo HR, singled in a run and scored.
Dominic Torres singled, doubled in a run and scored.
Dustin Yela singled in a pair of runs and scored.
Garrett Patterson went 2-for-4 and scored.
Cole West walked, singled and scored.
Derek Almeda’s RBI single in the second gave the Owls a 5-1 lead.
