Four South Hills pitchers combined on a two-hit shutout.
The Huskies improved to 2-0 after Saturday’s 7-0 victory over West Covina.
Paxton Czubek went three scoreless innings and allowed two hits.
Czubek issued a pair of walks and registered six strikeouts.
Adam Vega (2), Marc Morales (1) and Aiden Morales (1) combined to provide four scoreless and hitless innings in relief, and they struck out five WCHS batters.
Gabriel Diaz drew a pair of walks and singled, and Ethan Okazaki had the other base hit for the Bulldogs.
Andrew Velasco was charged with four runs (one earned) on one hit and four walks over one inning.
The Huskies got two runs (one earned) off Cristian Lazo on three hits over four innings.
Lazo walked two and struck out three SHHS batters.
Diego Villareal walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.
Aydan Schmidt went 1-for-2 with two RBIs.
Ayden Vieth drew a pair of walks and doubled.
Victor Merlos walked and scored two runs.
Carson Baker singled and doubled in the win.
Aiden Mirabel and Liam Martinez walked and scored one run apiece.
Czubek scored and had one RBI to help his cause.
