Quotable:
Maranatha coach, Walker Haynes: “Tonight’s game was a great performance from the whole team, and I’m proud of the hard work and never quit attitude that the boys displayed. The offense really showed well, scoring 4 goals, and defense worked hard to preserve the shutout. The midfield was outstanding, and they really put in the work to control the game. It was a great effort, and a strong team win against a tough league opponent, who won league last season. This win sets us up to be a contender for league title this season.”
