Tanner Grable & Max Hilgenfeldt Combine for 37 Points in Glendora’s 60-58 Victory Over Los Osos in Overtime

Twenty-four days after a 20-point victory over Los Osos, the Tartans and Grizzlies met up in the second round of the Damien Classic’s Bronze Division.

GHS got the win, but LOHS made them work overtime for it.

Glendora edged Los Osos, 60-58, on Saturday afternoon at Claremont High School.

Tanner Grable led GHS with 19 points, including all four in OT.

Grable hit a pair of first-half 3-pointers.

Max Hilgenfeldt provided 18 points, including two 3’s, and he went 4-of-5 from the free-throw line.

Jeremiah Garzon chipped in with 13 points.

Kylin Bernardez had a big night for the Grizzlies.

Bernardez scored a game-high 25 points.

He hit four 3-pointers, and Bernardez went 11-of-12 at the free-throw line.

Jamaal Johnson had 13 points in the loss.

Up next: GHS will battle Leuzinger on Monday at 3:30 at Ramona Middle School.

LOHS faces Rancho Dominguez at 12:30 at Charter Oak High School.
