Boys Hoops:
La Salle secured a spot in the semifinal round of the SoCal Christmas Classic.
The Lancers needed and got a 44-35 victory over Compton Dominguez on Saturday evening.
Enzo Trejo led the way with 12 points and four rebounds.
Trejo hit a pair of first-quarter 3-pointers.
Kristupas Miselis added eight points and a ridiculous 17 rebounds.
Zach Kuo and Cody Divens chipped in with six points apiece.
Andre Johnson scored a game-high 17 points in the loss, including a 5-of-6 effort from the free-throw line.
Reuben Brown hit a pair of 3’s and finished with eight points.
Up next: The Lancers will host Glendale on Monday night at 8:30 with a spot in the tournament title game at stake.
