Quotable:
Maranatha coach, Walker Haynes: “The boys battled against a tough side from La Salle. Everyone stepped up. Senior keeper Niko Lareau came up big with a pk save, early in the first half. That got everyone fired up, and the whole team responded and worked together. It was a gritty game, and I’m proud of the fight. It was a well-deserved win.”
Up next: The Minutemen will travel to Viewpoint on Tuesday at 2.
