Volleyball:
Naomi Taylor, Livsey Teems and Noelle Taylor put Marshall on their backs on Tuesday evening at Charter Oak.
The Eagles trio combined for 41 kills in Marshall’s five set victory over COHS in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 6 playoffs.
Marshall claimed victory by scores of 25-27, 25-21, 26-24, 23-25 and 15-10.
Naomi Taylor tied for a team-best 15 kills to go with her five aces and four blocks.
Teems finished with 15 kills, five aces and five digs.
Noelle Taylor provided 11 kills and five digs.
Ashley Dominguez had 38 assists, 10 digs, six aces and one kill.
Lena Lao totaled 25 digs and a pair of aces.
Up next: The Eagles will travel to Norwalk on Thursday evening at 6.
The Lancers (14-10) secured a four-set victory at Trinity Classical Academy.
