Football:
Etiwanda added to Ayala’s misery in the Baseline League opener.
The Eagles cruised to a 40-0 victory to drop the Bulldogs to 0-6.
EHS took a 20-0 lead into the break, and they scored 20 third-quarter points.
Etiwanda improved to season record to 3-3.
Dating back to last year, the Bulldogs have lost 15 consecutive games.
And they’re a combined 0-6 in Baseline League contests.
In league play, AHS has been outscored by a combined margin of 165-73.
Keegan Campuzano to three TD passes to give EHS that 20-0 lead at the half.
Campuzano hooked up with Chad Wakumoto on TD passes of 30 and 50 yards, respectively.
He also found Jason Arellano on a 45-yard scoring strike in the first quarter.
The EHS defense returned two fumbles for TDs.
Jaleel Sutton closed out the scoring with a 60-yard TD run.
Carson Geye caused and recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
Up next: The Eagles will host Damien on Friday.
The Spartans fell to 5-1 after Rancho Cucamonga’s 24-22 Baseline League opening contest at DHS.
