Football:
Dutch Burbidge continues to roll through week six.
The Pasadena High School quarterback has yet to throw a pick.
More importantly, the Bulldogs continued their dominating ways in Pacific League play.
On Friday, PHS trounced Hoover, 66-8, to improve to 3-0 in league games.
The Bulldogs scored 42 second-quarter points.
Pasadena has defeated Burroughs, Glendale and Hoover by a combined margin of 161-22.
Burbidge completed 10-of-11 for 235 yards.
And that included five passing TDs.
In the first six games of his junior campaign, Burbidge has tossed 23 touchdown passes and zero interceptions.
Synncere Pitts anchored the PHS ground game.
Pitts gained 173 yards on 15 carries.
He also scored three rushing TDs.
Kyle Robertson caught three passes for 87 yards and two scores.
Daniel Freeman reeled in a 47-yard TD pass.
Damian Pitts totaled 65 receiving yards on three catches, including a pair of TDs.
Sebastian Clark (2-for-11) and Delano King (2-for-25) combined to catch four passes for 36 yards.
Pasadena had an unreal 20 defensive players with at least one tackle.
Andrew Johnson led the Bulldogs with nine tackles.
J’hari Teasley-Hall had six tackles, while Michael Ambrose, Dior Middleton and Mekhi Smith tallied five tackles apiece.
Sebastian Clark and Dior Middleton had an interception for the Pasadena ‘D.’
Up next: The Bulldogs travel to Burbank on Friday.
