Football:
Pasadena improved to 2-0 in Pacific League games.
The Bulldogs cruised to a 41-0 victory at Glendale.
Through the first two league games, PHS has defeated Burroughs and Glendale by a combined margin of 95-14.
And both were road wins.
Dutch Burbidge continued the torrid pace to his junior campaign.
Burbidge completed 17-of-29 for 254 yards.
That included four TD passes and no interceptions.
Burbidge also led the ground game with 61 yards on seven carries, including one score.
Through the first five games, Burbidge has completed 84-of-130 for 1,378 yards.
That’s a 65-percent completion ratio.
He’s tossed 18 TD passes and no picks.
Burbidge also has a team-high five rushing TDs.
Xavion Flournoy gained 50 yards on five carries.
Damari Pitts carried the ball three times for 24 yards and one TD.
Synncere Pitts totaled 17 yards on seven carries.
Kyle Robertson caught seven passes for 137 yards and two TDs.
Delano King had four receptions for 66 yards and two scores of his own.
Damari Pitts (3-for-24) and Synncere Pitts (3-for-27) combined for five catches for 51 yards.
J’hari Teasley Hall led the PHS defense with 10 tackles.
Andrew Johnson had eight tackles, Dior Middleton totaled seven, while Michael Ambrose and Flournoy had six apiece.
Up next: PHS will host Hoover on Friday at 7.
