Quotable:
GHS coach, Erin Noriega: “Tonight, we were consistent. We won some great hustle plays that helped us bounce back from that second set loss. Overall, the team has been learning and growing from each match, win or loss. As a coach, that is really promising. We’ve been working on making adjustments faster, and tonight, we did. It was most definitely a team win with contributions in different areas across the board.”
Bonita assistant coach, Peyton Baumunk: “We competed and worked, but it’s hard to overcome our own mistakes and still battle against a tough opponent.”
