Football:
South Hills opened the 2025 season with a 13-7 setback to El Rancho last week at Sofi Stadium.
The Dons outscored the Huskies 13-0 in the second half.
Fast forward one week, and SHHS blasted their hosts from Ontario Christian.
South Hills took a 28-0 lead into the half, and they cruised to a 49-0 victory over the Knights.
The boys in the green uniforms accounted for 400 yards of total offense.
Fabian Marez had a big night.
The Huskies junior completed 11-of-16 for 238 yards.
And that included five TD passes.
That was nearly 100 yards and four touchdowns more than a week ago.

Marez and Isaiah Castellano were apparently on the same page.
Castellano caught five passes for 124 yards.
Three of the five went for TDs.
Jorge Aldaco had team highs in carries (7) and rushing yards (49).
Jaylen Lang ran for 25 yards on four carries, including one TD.
Justin Jimenez had a rushing TD and finished with 18 yards on five carries.
Sebastian Morinaga gained 31 yards on three carries.
Jacob Gallardo caught three passes for 66 yards and one TD.
Morinaga reeled in a 15-yard TD pass from Marez.
Tyler Arguinzoni led the SHHS defense with six tackles.
Daniel Calderon tallied five tackles and Aldaco had four.
Joshua Lizaola picked a pass on Friday.
Up next: The Huskies travel to Panorama City to battle St. Genevieve on Friday at 7.
The Valiants had a week zero bye, and they secured a 47-12 victory at Antelope Valley last night.
